The published edition
Honeywell presents EBI 2025 with geospatial map enhancements, an OPC UA point server client and changes to the server and workstation platform. A public release description does not establish an upgrade path for your installation.
What to compare
Review EBI, operating systems, database, interfaces, points, stations, licences and operational restrictions. Include DVM, access, fire, automation, network and supporting power dependencies.
What to agree
The applicable compatibility matrix, migration scope, backup and restoration validation, work window, responsible people, contingency and rollback tests.
What closes the work
Change records and agreed operator tests with results, open items and recommendations. A newer version does not replace validation of the actual system.
